Nice, punchy remix for Lorraine! AND A PROPER CLOSE FOR GMB.

An impressive debut for Good Morning Britain.

It's a great improvement on Daybreak and the latter days of GMTV.

The news content is much improved and the link with ITV News is inspired and gives that brand a wider exposure.

The graphics, despite a few teething problems, work extremely well and keep you updated with all the latest.

The regional intros are a good idea but whoever does them needs not to be involved in the previous item.

Andi Peters - less said the better.

Overall a solid eight out of 10.

I don't like Lorraine's music - too much going on.

Shame Sally Bidulph on London was not standing.

I thought GMB was, by and large, brilliant. I really hope: a) Sean gets a larger role, b) people take to it and get over the initial knee-jerk 'I hate change' reaction.

Poor Paul O'Grady - shoehorned into a 4 minute chat at the end!

Urrgh as if Andi Peters on GMB wasn't bad enough, he's managed to sneak his way onto Lorraine as well. Get rid ITV.

Some improvements in news content is welcome. Nice to see itv doing proper news...
But...

Yuk.
Hated the presentation. Far, far too American and the screen is too busy. Too much going on screen.
No need for all those wipes and transitions. Too many sweeping cameras.

It's a bit of an assault rather than something to wake up gently with.

I'm surprised they remixed the Lorraine theme and not give her a new one. That is too closely linked to Daybreak. I do like the added vocal though.
