Good Morning Britain - confirmed

I wonder what studio Weekend are in? wouldn't surprise me if weekend shares with Lorraine.

I hope the Weekend logo is nothing to do with the new branding for Good Morning Britain. Seems too simple and maybe a bit bland for something 5 days a week.

But GMB will be news based not entertainment based like weekend. So it will probably very simple.

Remember though that that is the old Today opening, this is new one which was updated not that long ago...

Yes, I know it is the old one. I was using it as an example to show how I hope those diagonal stripes are going to be used. I could have posted the old BBC LDN opening to show how I hope they are not going to be used.

EDIT: Also, the theme music for that montage for the 8am opening is something along the lines of what I'd like the GMB music to be like.

Considering Cactus TV are producing Weekend, it may come from the same studio complex used for Saturday Kitchen in Clapham.

That's the first time I've seen the new TODAY set, graphics etc and have to say, really like them. I love how faced paced it is as well. I know it's been said countless times before but I would like to see elements of this show popping up in GMB. Maybe it would be a nice touch to show more of ITV towers from the outside in a morning, as TODAY do with Rockefeller Centre, I know it's not as glamorous but still Plus Saturday Night Takeaway used it a lot during their latest series, so not an impossibility.
