The one and only golden Dot.......Jonnie, I think you have been on too much wine!!
I popped down to the 'Vic last night, and here is the explanation that jim Branning gave to me about your silver Dot.
The "silver" dot that you are referring to is something that civil engineers and architects refer to as a "dome" or a "fairing". It is essentially just a "cap" - moulded to the form of the structure - used to hide all the untidy losse ends that appear structurally at the top of such a structure. It also serves in (in simple terms) as a weather seal, not unlike the circular piece of cloth that is often found at the uppermost point of an umbrella, where all the segments are gathered together."
Eh.....ok, Jim, thanks. How's Dorothy. http://www.rp-networkservices.com/tvforum/uploads/dot_cotton.jpg

Has anyone else noticed this....or is it just me? Stare fairly intently at the Eastenders titles, and just as they end and the revolve stops, it will appear to gently revolve in the oppiste directtion. I imagine this is an optical illusion or some stange fucntion of the eye and brain. Any thoughts? And pplease assure me it's not just my eyes and brain!!

Agreed! Enough of this purile nonsense. Nobody in the Eastend shouts at you like that. They just barge you out of the way & pretend you're not there

Funny how the EastEnders theme tune used to be famous for indicating that the show is about to start so grab your place on the sofa. Now it just tells you to change the channel!
