Another point I haven't seen anyone mention - the overhead map shown on the C4 special did not bear any resemblance to the actual layout of the Maze on the programme??? Sure, it was correct as per the classic series, but for the one-off special, I found it misleading and not accurate at all.
I would love to see someone come up with the actual layout of the Maze as it should have been shown. It would be very interesting!!!

Yeah, because it's a frigging documentary!
An accurate map would have to shown two levels for a start so it would be more like one of the those shopping mall maps.

Well, that's what I mean! I would be interested to see the actual layout of the Maze. I, for one, was not aware it was set on different levels. I was surprised that they hadn't accurately shown the new Maze setup. So they didn't travel round the Maze clockwise last week?? Rather, they took a vertical course??
They must've deliberately not shown as much of the transition between zones as they used to. I assumed they just cut it for time - there's an extra ad break nowadays - but if the layout isn't the same, then neither would the transitions and not showing them hides this.
I think he's eccentric enough but I think actually being able to control the game and actually take the role of "maze master" is just as important. Stephen managed that well in the special.
So, The Crystal Maze Manchester experience is costing
from £45 per person!
I knew it might be a bit on the expensive side, but that is an absoluely ****ing diabolical rip-off! Offensively overpriced to the point that it's extortionate!
Well, that is what is costs to get into your average theme park if you don't have a 2 for 1 voucher! I imaging the set up costs are high and they'll be wanting to make them back.
