Actor John Middleton also played a copper in Brookside around the same time.

Advert for Corrie tour just on itv, showed Emily's/Norris old house finished on the outside, at last someone in Corrie on that side of the street has found uPVC 😂

I guess it's probably only in Granadaland but the ad for the tours seemed to be on virtually every break earlier this week.

Just spotted the revamped exterior of No. 3 on the Corrie Tour advert just now. Not yet seen on screen yet?

First glimpse of it tonight as James walked across the road. It was a blink-and-you'll-miss-it occurence, but definitely the updated frontage.

It actually premiered for the first time last week briefly, in a scene with Maria outside of the salon, though the nets were still up and the skip outside. Not sure if the blinds were seen tonight as haven’t seen it yet.

The house has been completed gutted inside - removal of the middle wall, the staircase has moved and changed, there’s now a porchway built in with a window looking onto the stairs a la no. 6. The kitchen door has moved to the back wall of the house and there’s patio doors where the old dining room window is.

What, you mean they didn't renovate it overnight when they moved in?

You mean like the staircase in Number 4 moving to the other side of the living room overnight?

In the same place I believe, just perhaps slightly further back.

It's not in the same place, compare it to where it is on the ITV3 repeats with Derek and Mavis living there to where it is now. It's the opposite side of the room. That would have needed some major remodeling, but it moved virtually overnight, when Ashley & Clare were still living there.

I’m referring to no. 3’s being in the same place, not no. 4’s.

No. 4’s staircase definitely did move, to the other side of the room in fact, in 2007.
