I don't need 140 characters to decide Anthony Cotton is a **** !

Hi people
Does anyone knows what's happening to the butchers shop? It had me thinking it's over a year now since the butchers was open, but nothings happen with it, I know Claire Peacock owns it but surely they have to do something with it? I did read something about Julie and Brian buying it, not sure if that's correct though?
And what's happening to StreetCars, as Beckys leaving is she going to sell her share back to Lloyd? And has Prima Doner closed? Didn't Dev own it? It's sad to see four great characters leaving in 2012; Becky will be missed, Rosie leaving and Sian has really become a great character and a true corrie ledgend Betty is sadly gone. Is there anymore scenes to come of Betty or is that it?
Think it's time Corrie brought in some new people and not just for short stints like Marc Selby, Lewis Archer etc.
Not sure about the butchers, I heard it was gonna become a fruit and veg shop, but that was like five months ago, Dev still owns the takeaway and its still open, but non-residents work there.
I think she was winding Audrey up, the butchers is going to be a health food shop or something of that ilk run by Julie and Brian
when the flat above the cab office was on fire would that not set off fire alarms in the salon and maria's flat as it's the same building, they should have been evacuated as they were next door
I think she was winding Audrey up, the butchers is going to be a health food shop or something of that ilk run by Julie and Brian
Has that been confirmed? I heard a florist, not necessarily ran by Julie and Brian.
Tracy??
Heaven forbid -
Tracy Langton-Barlow-Preston-Cropper(-McDonald)
as the
'Demon Butcher of Victoria Street'
As much as I dislike the character of Tracy: as the writers intend, of course; I enjoy the put-down lines she delivers and the quite unimaginable/unrealistic schemes she perpetrates.
Isn't Tracy used as a dark (yet comedic and desparate) character? There is always an element of sympathy thrown into the mix - albeit briefly, but you have to admire the writers for managing to invent a character with which to explore so many options.
You have to suspend realism with most soaps: so believeing that she is capable of such manipulation is not worth debating.
It delivers good TV, and that's not bad!

I actually like Tracy in the current storyline, it's easy to see why she's doing what she's doing, and you can tell she doesn't really want Becky punished by the police, she just said what she said to Steve at the hospital because she was scared.
I didn't like it when Tracy came back and was nasty to everyone for no real reason
I just posted this video in the Challenge thread. It makes me wonder why nothing happened with this storyline. I know Michael Le Vell has had some problems with the tabloids recently, so I wonder if there was a storyline involving Kevin Webster's love of Bullseye that has had to be put on hold.
It just seems strange that his love of Bullseye has not been mentioned before or since.
