While they shouldn't be dead, ther certinally shouldn't be allowed to do this sort of rubbish. I'm not watching anything on BBC1 until it has gone. I'm keeping my eyes peeled on Points Of View next week.

And, um, what channel is Points of View on?! And how will you know it's gone if you don't watch?

Once again Jenny you have made a comment that I find offensive in the extreme. No matter how much I disagree with anyone, I would never wish them dead - something which you have done on at least one previous occasion in addition to the one above...

Well it's not like I'm actually going to kill someone, is it? Apart from myself, obviously. Anyway, owing to an unfortunate urge to be kindly and helpful to people who aren't evil, I haven't had time for my customary drinking binge for a few nights, so I'm really going to go for it tonight. (Drinking, not killing myself... though I suppose it is an outside possibility.)

I still can't actually stay awake long enough to consume enough alcohol to do any proper damage, but I'm working on it.)

In all seriousness I think it's time you got yourself some help Jenny.

By reading TV Forum, of course.

Australian commercial networks have started doing this the last year or so as well. We've always had the station logo and program name appear down the bottom of the screen after returning from the ad break but now Channel Seven promotes other programmes during the week and then the next programme as well.

Crikey, Central was doing this years ago in its night time programming. On returning from the last ad break of the programme, 'Now' and 'Next' info would overlay the action.

NOW: Prisoner: Cell Block H
NEXT: The Hit Man and Her

Well there you go, it's pretty big, animated and pretty unnecessary in my view.

I give it one week max.

And what is the point of even E-Mailing that arty, farty, fairy??? Theres more chance of Trisha of ITV giving birth to an alian.

Folks, get real, dont bother E-mailing Her! You may as well send an E-mail to Granada TV complaining about some C*ap you bought of Shop! the value channel, than ever hope for the BBC to listen to us TV Nutters!

Well, send a complaint to someone at the BBC. However slim, the chances of them getting rid of it are greatly improved if people do bother to air their views.

Doesn't matter what you think of her, you'll need to be spelling her name correctly if you want to send her an email...
