I taped loads of 1994 Emmerdale from the Granada Plus repeats when I was much younger, but reused the tapes quickly afterwards so am making up for it this time by recording the repeats. Same with classic Corrie.

Another question to ask it what point the classic Corrie and Emmerdale episodes collide. The gap is down to just over 5 months now, there was about 18 months between them when the repeats started.

Well I guess providing there are no dramatic schedule changes then it could be quite soon. Emmerdale was still twice weekly for a while yet so plenty of Catch up time. Emmerdale May overtake when the extra fourth episode of Coronation Street from 1995 airs.
