Interesting that the following two title sequences were so short lived (September 92-December 93, and December 93-November 94 respectively), though they were all basically re-edits of the same footage. Each one getting less and less farm-y in content though, the 1989 tiles still having a fair bit of farming footage in there, I think only the brief shot of cows and the lambs in the 1994 titles were the only farming related clips left by then, and nothing farming related in the 1998, 2005 and 2011 titles (unless helicopter shots of fields count, I guess).
Still suprised the 1975 titles lasted for 14 years, they must have looked horrifically dated long before 1989. No different to the 1976 Corrie titles which lasted through to 1990 though.
Are these the new titles that debut on tomorrows classic showings?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRp_kSelSVs
This also shows the village of Esholt albeit briefly. These feature at the end of the opening sequence from 1993 onwards and closing credits but a different shot was used from 1994 onwards.

It's not Esholt that appears in the shot you're talking about, or the 1993 or 94 titles (Esholt doesn't appear at all in the 1993 or 94 titles). The only shot that's actually Esholt in the 1992 titles is that of the Woolpack at the end. The village they use for that wideshot is actually Kettlewell, which is quite a distance from Esholt. In fact, it's not far from Arncliffe, where they shot the location work until 1976. Maybe they thought it looked better on that distant wide shot than the real Esholt?

New Titles aired and interesting they are not scrolling end credits at the moment; that will
alter next week. I am pretty sure also that some episodes have a build up to the music during the final scene but not all.
Yes, there was no build up on the 1992 titles, that was from the 93 titles onwards.
In fact the whole opening theme of the 93 and 94 titles sounds slightly different to the 92 ones. It's very similar but slightly slower paced and softer with less bass, hard to describe but it's definitely not quite the same. Personally I preffered the 92 music, quite liked the bass notes.
I remember that they go back to using the slow theme (what sounds like the 1989-91 longer version) for the closing credits from the end of 1993 until late 1994, but faded in midway through. The faster-paced piano version as used in 1992-93 then returns, initially also faded in late but then changed to the full version with the intro/lead-in played over the final scene. (Hope that makes sense!)
