It was very nice. Quite good how they've created a Christmas scene, but then brought everyone from the campaign so far back to star in the advert, the only thing that spoils it is that purple background right at the end, the yellow and green has worked, so why ruin it?

Just seen the Morrisons advert, they've got a jingled up version of Take That's Shine, with Denise Van Outen, Nick Hancock, Gabby Logan, Diarmud Gavin, Alan Hansen and Lulu, very nice indeed.

I think it would have looked better if M was white on purple rather than the usual green on yellow, with the use of the purple background.

Good point, there were just too many colours for me.
I think I'd have prefered it if the coloured logo was on snowy ground as snow was falling.

Well Morrisons gets my vote for best Christmas ad so far. Toys R Us in close second.
It seemed Anthony already started getting merry on the sherry on QVC this afternoon - after attempting to catch a bauble, he fell back on his chair into the prop tree. And if you ask, it just "happened" I was channel hopping at that exact moment.

Spice Girls + Tesco = Huge wage packet.
The amounts they're getting paid this Christmas, they'll afford to buy their own planet.

For me, the most distinctive of the lot has to be from John Lewis- nice to get away from the usual some of the usual cliches...

Seemingly all shot in the same take as well, with no CGI used to create the shadow effect - check out this if you're not convinced

And their new Cambridge store is rather nice too!

The Bill Oddie one is awful as well, as is the Post Office in general. What are they thinking!
I think this is a nice vocal revamp of the Coca Cola trucks advert (although its now as camp as Christmas!) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Qph1zSmatP4
