Why oh why has it taken them this long to make an orchestrated version of the theme?! That sounds amazing! I want a full version and I want it now! Laughing

After watching it several times, anyone would think this campaign was the return of Big Brother, not just a new series. No series before now has had such a dramatic build up. It's pretty clear all this is Endemol's work trying to sell the product to other stations... hopefully it'll work if maintained throughout both the final series.

I think Celeb Big Brother will be very successful this year compared to recent standards. I agree that some may think its the return of Big Brother and I do think the British public still treat the show (especially the launch show) as a bit of a guilty pleasure.

If CBB7 goes to plan, I think BB actually will go out with a bang and there will be a very high chance of it being picked up. Probably not in 2011 but 2012 onwards would be a real possibility. Or for some reason I have a feeling Channel 4 themselves may bring it back by making it go out on a high (after saying they're struggling without it etc). There may be a method to Channel 4's madness of seemingly ruining the show.

I said at the time that BB10 was the lowest it will ever go, I think CBB7 and BB11 will see rises on BB10, and hopefully for the summer they can pull out another decent ad campaign, and have ex housemates returning to the show even if not as housemates. Then they please both sets of viewers who want all stars and those who don't.

Well unless Dermot comes back in some form I personally wont be 100% satistfied Laughing BBLB hasn't been the same since he left, he was a natural for the format. And although he's good on X Factor, I do believe the magazine-eske flowing nature of BBLB suits him more as a presenter, than an auto cue filled X Factor product.

Actually get him in CBB next month! Razz

In regards to C4 bringing it back eventually, I also feel this will be the case... in some ways Big Brother IS Channel 4. It just wouldn't feel right popping up on Sky1 or Living

Oh and for those who do like the music, here's a non-clicky version of the 30sec tease trailer:

30 Second Tease.mp3

I'm hoping they use this for the actual theme... can't see the original quite working with fire and brimstone personally.

For the summer they should try and get Dermot back. If they moved the show to C4, they could bill it in the ad campaign as "the original Little Brother returns". I think Dermot himself could bring back a few viewers due to X Factor association. It will probably never happen though due to X Factor (and Simon Cowell who probably forced him out). They could probably do the same with Russell but I doubt he will because he's gone on to bigger and much better things.

Wellll sort of, that was more A-Team than orchestrated Laughing

Meh, to me the advert's sound isn't quite as dramatic as its visuals suggest.

Would you rather the show's logo be accompanied by what's on the advert though, or the usual techno version... doubt that'd have quite the same kick somehow Laughing

Love the techno version but I have to agree, wouldn't have the same kick!

It'll be interesting to see what they do with the opening sequence Surprised

No, I just think the orchestral version doesn't quite... erm... climax. *snigger*

If you see what I mean - it feels like it's building up to something quite grand but it doesn't seem to quite get there.

I guess that would be the point of a teaser though, building you up, only to not take you right to the end. Perhaps there's a bigger version for the actual series or for the date/time advert.
