That would probably be a good idea. I hear that the YTV programme has been on the slide a bit recently ratings-wise, and sharpening it up with more news-based stuff could well be the way to go.

It's possibly to do with the fact that This Morning is doing so badly, so a lifestyle programme is not now inheriting viewers as it would have done previously (initial ratings for the lifestyle 1.10pm shows was strong). It has to be said that NE Today has held up rather better from what I've seen...

About the times of local news London Tonight was ALWAYS on at 12:20pm then 1:00pm but since it has become like BBC news when they cross over to the regional news then go back to ITN it now comes on about 1:10-1:12pm. P*ss Poor
