There's been no serious conversation about sharing 4K content as part of this deal currently. If and when SkyX launches in the UK then I could see 4K content used as a bridge on that platform and across BTTV as another offering.

Save for some of the early studio-based chat shows, BT Sport have generally only credited the production company and not any of the individual contributors - like this:
Bit of a surprise then to see a credit roller running over the music piece at the end of today's Betfred Cup coverage:
I'm not sure today was its first outing - though I do know there are a few graphics tweaks on the way, beginning with the new logo from 6am tomorrow.

Yep, and aside from the logo it's more of a refinement of the current look than a dramatic overhaul for most of the pres (the promo endboards are quite different, though) but there's some very nice stuff in there. A bit more dynamic.

Yay. Deeply geeky, but now we can find out where the scanners come from!
Curious as to the nature of the production caption. 'A Sunset+Vine production with BT Sport.
Does this mean, unlike other indie company made productions made downstream of the commissioning broadcaster, BT Sport use some of their own staff producing along side S+V?

Yes, the 'Season 7' look went live at 6am this morning.
A slightly more straightforward changeover than last year, when a baseball game unexpectedly overran past 6am...
Another change today, a new name for BT Sport 4K UHD, which now has live events in HDR on certain platforms:

The 'Ultimate' name's been in the pipeline for a while, though it's pretty well-known that the new logo has been around for some time so maybe it comes from a while ago. Hmm...
Would have to find a way to tag Atmos on there somewhere too!

Oddly enough, on the Virgin EPG the name has changed to BT Ultimate but the logo is BT Sport 4KUHD in the new style. Last minute name change?

They didn't fancy BT Sport 4K UHD HDR then?

Is it my imagination but is the level of opacity of the new DOG being used differently with live and replay/recorded content? I think that the DOG is brighter and opaque on Live content. whereas it appears duller and less obvious on non live programming. If not I may need to go to Specsavers.
