Not sure if was mentioned but seems BT are now showing both FA Cup games tonight.

Mentioned it in the General Thread

Seems the extra fixture is being shown in International Rights format. Not usual BT titles.

Rather odd tonight

Northampton S - London Irish Rugby seems to be being simulcast on 2HD and X2HD for no explicable reason as far as I can see. Is there any explanation that I've obviously missed?

This is for the pubs and other commercial customers who are still able to buy the package where they get BTS1 only and should expect to be able to get Premiership Rugby as part of that deal. Usually happens where it's on X1 and the red button is only made available to commercial customers (e.g. for the Premier League games on BTS2 earlier in the week) but in this case it's on X2 and available to all because of the FA Cup game on X1.

Premier League and SPFL are in the same category - the two midweek PL games which were on Sport 2 were also on X1.
(I'm guessing it's easier to relax the paywall on the other extra channels for a few hours compared to the main ones)

I thought BT Sport was on the Amazon Fire TV now but can't seem to find it. Just BT TV which I'm told I need an extra subscription for.

There was something on the Grauniad website earlier this week, which said that BT were offering pay monthly no contract charging for Sport and entertainment.

Wonder if they have already folded Sport into a BTTV channel.

No, you have one opportunity without penalty per month to discontinue services which can be a single (such as Sport on it's own) or multiple, once done unless you want to add services, you can't cancel anything further until the next without penalty.

The BT TV app in the Amazon app store is for existing BT TV subscribers.

Like the Sky Go app for Sky customers.

Of which I thought I was one.

That's a weird message, something which conveys that the match has been called off rather than being open to interpretation that the weather has scuppered the OB might be better.

A little surprised to see that Wilder v Fury is out from the paywall already and is on BT Sport 1 tonight.
