So it literally is Madness closing television centre. I'm guessing Comic Relief then is likely to be the last major live programme to come from there.

Will News be out of TVC when it closes? Or will they do something 'special'?

Television Centre is closing. 'Closing' is a word which indicates you are blocking off, revoking access to or shutting a place or thing. Domestic news is supposed to move in March. TVC will close in March. If you connect these dots up, News will have left beforehand. I highly doubt News would be able to remain whilst the rest of the BBC at Television Centre leaves.

The building won't be 100% closed on March 31st. CCA isn't moving out until later in the year (connectivity takes a lot of time to move), and I'm told May's local election programme will be coming from TVC.

When BBC TV News moved to TV Centre they finished the bulletin at Alexandra Palace with a song:

There is no guarantee wiki is right - and that info can't be. BBC London can't share a studio with the One Show - at least not London's main bulletin.

Is it just me who thinks the main floor still sort of looks like a building site/area? With the grey carpet tiles that look like concrete and the washed out red carpet tiles that look like they're caked in dust...?
