It has been described as 'Hard hitting comedy', some things they do are hilarious, whilst other piecesa are serious & informative, and some are a bit of both. Contrasting examples are those marsion stick people and 'The Cook Report'.

I enjoyed tonight's - right on the mark, especially the version of the USA anthem, the Pop Idol take-off, and the John Prescott stuff.
However, apart from the first episode of the series which I felt was the best this time round, I think the rest of it has been a bit too heavy and, not just serious, but humourless.
The old format of 'Rory Bremner: Who Else?' was the happy medium.

It is one of the best programmes of its type, its one of the few programmes that still makes me laugh, you have to obviously have to have an intrest in what they cover to fully grasp most of it.
I do wish though that Channel 4 would repeat BB&B as I missed both the first and last episodes of this series. Obviously it doesn't fall into E4's audience target, but why can't they repeat in overnight on Channel 4 like they do with other stuff?

I remember a few years ago they did repeat the shows, although this stopped in 2000 for the general episodes.
Until more recently they did repeat the specials, although with the most recent (Trust Me I'm a Prime Minister) it is only available for repeat on 4Broadband.

Bremner, Bird and Fortune used to be a great programme, but the Iraq war has produced a shift in emphasis in the last 2 series from comedy to a pathetic liberal mouthpiece. Stick to comedy Rory, rather than thinking your talents as an impressionist give you a divine right to preach to the masses with an ill-informed and bigoted doctrine.
