I think Big Mouth will have been axed along with Big Brain.

I think they might be keen to keep it - it was always a ratings puller for E4 (but then maybe that was just Russell) - it's just a case of finding a suitable host. I'd be worried if they still haven't found somebody though.

Well there's a few irons in the fire they could look to...(some which I'd disagree on)

Justin Lee Collins
Alan Carr
Russell Howard
Mark Dolan

Or they could just pluck some newbie comic on the circuit.

I just hope we don't have a carbon copy of Russell, someone who ends up trying to be as contraversial as he was.

Heres the ''scoops'' from that article:

Quote:
Heat magazine have printed some information about the new series but NO eye was printed today.

Heat mag today printed information about the new house, including an aerial photograph similar, if not identical, to the one we saw in the Star, but did not print much else. Herefs the gist:

The show will begin at the end of THIS month.
The series will run for 13 weeks and 2 days - does this mean a Wednesday launch?
All shows other than Big Brain are returning
The first BBLB will be the day after launch
The garden is smaller and appears to have shrunk to make way for hroomsh
A roof has yet to be built
Producers will not be letting it be gthe next BB4
The bisexual housemates rumour is rubbish
Russellfs replacement has not been decided and Dermot will travel by gplane, shuttle and automobileh between X Factor auditions and the studio
There is a gvery interestingh batch of new housemates, unlike anything seen before
And there will be the usual gsurprise twistsh

Thanks IBB and Heat

Here is an interview I have done with Philip Edgar-Jones, BB's Creative Director. Perhaps you will find it fascinating.

A good interview - even though alot of the questions seem to be longer than the answers. I've always had alot of respect for Mr Edgar-Jones - he's always come across as quite honest and seems to treat the fans with far more respect than other TV execs might have.

Yes, it's a bad habit of mine really.

My underlying fear is: BB8 - like BBs 6 and 7 then.

Hardly. It's looking increasingly likely BB8 is going to be another carbon copy of 5,6 & 7. Despite fans almost universally agreeing everyone is sick to death of the tiresome routine of the same old housemates, twist after twist after twist and those now boring "secret" rooms.

But a lot of people like these kinds of twist. Can't please everyone I guess.

IE, We the producers like these kind of twists - f**k the fans. Rolling Eyes

That's the worry - but most the things I've seen from more reliable sources (i.e. not the Daily Star) suggest the producers are fully aware of the need for change this year.

I'm not actually averse to twists by the way, the problem is that the only ones that really work are the ones where it doesn't feel like there's an air of desperation about them.

I agree - he's a difficult one to replace. Try with a carbon copy and they'll inevitably fail, but on the other hand they can't just have a run of the mill TV presenter either.

They basically need someone funny, but in a completly different way to Russell - which is alot easier said than done I guess!
