For me Paramount Comedy and Paramount 2 win hands down! You can't beat classics like Cheers, Seinfeld and Minder on a daily basis. Plus they had a Peter Kay special on the other night that was hilairious, plus they dug some stuff out of their archive too. Plus I enjoy the repeats of Baddiel and Skinner, The Frank Skinner Show and The Sketch Show whenever they're on.
Frankly if they got these on Top Up TV I'd happily get rid of cable. (How sad does that sound?!)

Ah yes, good old Paramount. Seinfeld's my favourite US comedy, and they also show Frasier, which is good. I'm glad they started Paramount 2, as it means Seinfeld is on pretty much all the time now. Previously, they had it on and off throughout the year.

For me at the moment it has to be Challenge, as they currently have brought the rights to show all 8 series of Knightmare (series 1 starts this Monday @ 7:30pm).

No they started originally with just series 3 but added more as interest in the programe grew they purchased the rights to series 4 to 8. The reason they haven't shown series 1 & 2 until now is because it was filmed in an obselete format which costs a lot to transfer to a readable format.
At a slight tangent there is plans for a new series "Knightmare VR". Further info about that can be found at: http://televirtual.com/news2.htm

I'll go Channel 4. They might show some utter crap like Big Brother, and if it was the only channel you had it wouldn't meet your every need, but it straddles the balance between public service and commercial well for me, broadcasting programmes that on any other network would be commercial suicide, putting the news on in primetime (7pm - even the Beeb would never consider that on 1 or 2), and providing a good mix of that and popular programming. I've always felt sorry for terrestrial viewers in Wales that this is the channel messed about with to make way for S4C.
