That link was really interesting, it confirms that on the earliest shows there used to also be live music, something I thought I'd remembered but had never seen repeated so thought maybe I'd imagined it...

Yes the early LWT-only episodes were an hour long and had bands in them. They were later reversioned and cut down to half hours for showing nationally

I didn't know Bob Mills was writing now, thanks for this. I wonder why he has stopped performing? I have always found him very entertaining.

Bob Mills used to present Win Lose or Draw in the mornings on ITV and a cracking job he did of it too!!

He still performs, just not on TV! have a look at http://www.chortle.co.uk/comics/b/33307/bob_mills for where you can see him

He pops up on 5 Live every so often as a guest on Fighting Talk and was a regular guest on Christian o'Connell's 5 Live Sunday morning show

Agreed, definitely the best presenter of this show.
