In Bed with meDinner, Bob Mills. Four series, 1992-1999. An LWT Production for late-night ITV.
Wouldn't say it was particularly "great", and I wouldn't say Mr Mills was "great" either. Or maybe it was because I was only 14 when I saw it first time round and I kind of missed the entire point...

Yes, um, I was doing a kind of joke at the way the opening post was constructed. Like a set of instructions.

I like Bob Mills actually.

I really liked it, with Bob constructing a whole story around old documentary clips. Quite similar to, but better than, Russell Brand's Ponderland.

Oddly stumbled across some of this very programme just the other week whilst doing a raid of late night tapes for the purposes of digitizing them.

Of course it's not doing much to help with the limited point to this thread, but enjoy the dulcet tones of Maggie over the most loved ident of all time into another obligatory clip anyway...

I liked it. Please add me to the list.

Although, I think I liked it because I enjoyed the old clips rather than because it was funny.

I agree this was a really good show. I also remember Bob Mills presenting Games World on Sky One and he was quite funny as the host. I haven't seen Bob Mills on TV for years, what has happened to him?

I saw him in the Making of Christmas Lights (the ITV drama and its sequals), I think he was one of the writers.

Yes, he's written many shows, including a number of episodes of Shameless, the sitcom Bob Martin, the whole of that Christmas/Northern/City Lights thing and the film Pierrepoint.
