I'm still on the fence. This took me no longer than five minutes to create in Adobe Premiere, but I just want to show how easy it is to take audio from another piece of continuity and pair it up with something else.

Its seems were being mocked about thinking this is a mock. Ie with the original post.
The problem is how rare that footage is, the quality of it, the modern timecode, and the level of skill mockers can reach nowadays. It's all making some of us suspicious.
As I've said, if there's more evidence, I'll happily be put in my place.
Rajiv Gandhi was the Indian Prime Minister from 31 October 1984 – 2 December 1989.
There was an episode of Holiday Outings in India shown in both 1988 and 1989.
The Hong Kong masters did indeed take place in 1987, but considering the other mistakes made by the announcers in the video ("Flushing Meadow", "Holiday Outing"), they could very well be referring to the Hong Kong Challenge in 1990.
I'm on the fence with this video. Nothing really sticks out, but some of the style of it (namely the BBC Two captions) don't seem contemporary.
Worth remembering a test ident is just that - the information around it doesn't need to be factually accurate as they are just for illustrative purposes.

You're probably correct. Also note the announcers were actually working at the BBC at the time.
