If you watch the broadband news on the Broadband website, and you go towards the end of the program, you can see Darren handing to the regions, and then you see him unpluging his microphone and talkback, chatting to Mary, and then standing up. The floor manager then comes into shot, and starts messing with the computer. Not quite as dramatic as last week, but it's still quite good. Shame he takes his microphone off straight away, or we might be able to hear what he says to Mary.

Ahh, the honesty of television! His little smile at the end just vanishes so fast! Anyway, looks like the BBCi peeps are having trouble with the weekend news timings - from the looks of the editing of the Six and Ten etc the whole thing is done more or less automatically. Perhaps as the weekend news is a little less predictable in the schedules they can't quite determine the start and end.

Darren must have been aware of what went on last weekend with the broadband broadcast. Laughing
