Another tape has come out with Trump saying to a 10 year old, I will date her in 10 years or something like that. Ok not terrible, but a bit weird. Although I have heard people saying things like that before many many years ago...

Anyway latest poll of polls has Trump on 40%, Clinton on 45%.

It is terrible. Revolting in fact - he'd be Yewtree material in the UK if there is any truth in any of these reports.

This speech a little while ago just touched off another firestorm...

The media should tone it down, I don't think it's doing them any favours. Just let Trump do it himself, the more you attack him, the stronger he becomes. Not that I'm a fan of Clinton.

I suspect the media are toning it down - feels like this is just scraping the surface.

Arguably though the US media can report on this more honestly than the British media could thanks to the different impartiality rules

How would your impartiality rules prevent reporting of claims and tapes reported about Trump?

Impartiality makes it easier to report on things. Being biased will favour only one side of the story, or one interpretation.

Fox News will focus on Hillary's issues, and choose guests who will defend Donald, and the Republican side of things.
I hear MSNBC tend to be more pro democrats, and so will focus on defending Hillary, and attacking Trump.

This wouldn't be so bad if there were only two equally resourced and financed news outlets supporting both sides. But there is no balance, and not all Americans will source their news and insights from varied sources. This leads to strong Confirmation Bias, and allows people to believe there are conspiracies on both sides.

Things looking pretty scary for journalists attending Trump events:

Alas there only have them selves to blame, well tough cheese. The media over there have been doing there own thing and putting its own spin on stuff which has made alot of people not happy with the news channels. Its been noted Fox is republican all the way. MSBC? are try democrats. IF you want people not to believe you dont have an agenda, you need to drop the agenda.

you need to drop the agenda.

You should take some of your own advice.

What would that be?

I don't know how the Americans can take it, the news networks are very one sided on both sides.

Even with all this coming out about Trump, I'm not convinced Clinton will win, I will believe it when I see it.
