Who will replace him at Click?

If Click remains...

I think it very unlikely that Click Online will find difficulty replacing him, and I don't think the show is any danger of disappearing from our screens. It is one of the most popular recorded shows on News 24 and World AIUI.

What about Susan Osman doing "click"???

Is it conceivable that he could still do Click?

I think it very unlikely that AJI would want an anchor to also appear on BBC World - a competitor in the global news channel stakes.

I think you'll find Click will not feature Mr Cole in the New Year. (And I think that may be unrelated to the AJI issue...)

Gawd knows why, though. I've rarely seen such a patronising programme. Even on subjects I know nothing about...

Agreed. Here's a typical script:

[Cole]: And Hydrup Ganges from Mumbai has emailed us
[Ganges]: Hello, I live in Mumbai. I have recently got a computer. It comes with a pad full of buttons with letters on them and a scrolling device with two buttons and a wheel on it. Could you tell me what these are??
[Cole]: Yes! They are the keyboard and mouse! You use these to work the computer!

A friend of mine emailed "Click" with a genuine computer question related to his Mac and data transfer. He received no reply.

I have e-mailed several times, with real genuine problems, which I have not found the answer too, and only recieved an auto reply. I guess Stephens ego spread through the click office. I caint wait until he goes to read the news on an islamic channel (europe version) it saves him talking jibble on quality news broadcasters channels.

I once sent a suggestion for Web Scape, or whatever it's called and got a rather interesting reply.

Noggin, I'm surprised, I find the whole set up patronising (particually SC and even that Kate women, doing her voice nice and slow so us commoner's can understand). Thats and the pres could do with a serious revamp...

What fabulous hair!

I bet that took a bit of combing in that special way to get it like that.
