Even a Kay fronted evening show would be better than the right-wing Pledge.

Is it right wing? To be fair, I only watched the first episode, but found alot of the views then to be left wing. But like I say, that was just my impressions from the first episode.

Sarpong was the loudest left-winger of the panel. Dewberry, Ferrari etc skew to the right.

Some of their choices of people puzzle me on there.

I had to laugh the other week when June told someone off for interrupting her - let me finish yet she does nothing but interrupt and provide constant commentary of ums and yeah and hardly lets anyone get a word in edgeways

I've got to say I've watched most of the pledge shows and when they aren't all shouting over each other its not too bad at all. I like that they dropped the first ad break which makes it feel less rushed

Just noticed at Sky's College green set, it looks like an LED backdrop behind the guests. Strange as the backdrop doesn't appear animated.

I thought that when I first saw it. You can see the tiles and pixels.

It is strange, because the white was so overpowering when it was at night, and if it was LED they could have easily darkened it.

Sky does seem intent on making everything as white as possible though.

To be fair, it does look better at night - it's a bit dull during the day

Sky News presenter who clashed with Owen Jones loses job in station cull

A trio of Sky News presenters left the station on Brexit day.

Anchors Mark Longhurst, Andrew Wilson and Lorna Dunkley have exited the channel.

A source said: “Mark, Andrew and Lorna were asked to leave on Friday.

“The news comes after Martin Stanford left Sky News in April after working for them for 25 years.

“Their surviving colleagues have been left wondering how they’re going to cover all the shifts.”

A spokesperson said they were unable to comment.

Posters on DS are saying this story is probably false. Any thoughts?

I also checked the newsreaders twitter accounts & nothing has come up yet about them leaving Sky.

Digital Spy's forums are the last place I'd go for confirmation.

During the TOTH at 7pm instead of showing the top story on the app it showed a live shot of Adam Boulton and Sarah Hewson which then zoomed in to fill the screen - at first the audio was out of sync.

I hate that stand up shot in Westminster. Is the College Green studio now gone? BBC and CNN still broadcasting from there today.

Is there any chance to watch the opening sequence of last thursday´s coverage again? I cannot find anything on youtube.

I still miss the orchestral music from 2005. I'm surprised they didn't use the new remixed version in 2010, except wasting it on what was left on Sky News Active, before it was axed months later.

I believe Sky News Australia used it for their election coverage which is on YouTube somewhere.
