That News & Star article is shockingly poor. '5 years after the merger' and 'Nightly news programme was changed in 2008'. Was February 25th 2009.

Judging by her twitter she will be London based. So not just a local reporter for the show.

From what I have seen online, she is pretty awful presenter. Gobsmacked she is going national!

She's decent. Good on TT&B for me as a presenter. Bit up and down as a reporter, bit hyper, not sure on a national front, will wait and see.

The Deputy Editor of The Scotsman, Peter MacMahon, has been unveiled as ITV Border's new Political Editor. A pretty big scoop. He's well respected in journalistic and political circles in Scotland.

eugh no, what was the point? Exactly like the old ones (even reusing some clips) creatively but technically worse in every way.
