Okay, it is fine I think someone leaked it on twitter first and as a journalist, it slightly annoyed me as if I posted it I would get shot in the head.

Women are well represented this year, 49% of honours are awarded to women and 51% men.
I thought the punishment was to be sent to The Tower Laughing
Seriously though, great for Lyse, It's a shame however that a lot of domestic BBC News viewers wouldn't be too familiar with who she is.

Lyse has appeared on Domestic tv for well over two years. it's a given she should have been across network news long before. She is in my opinion the very best the BBC has.

This award couldn't be more well deserved. She's an incredible journalist, and she's an incredible woman. Bravo!
