ESI media rebranded this channel so you would think they would have finally bought or made some decent content, what was the point of it, what audience are they aiming for now? Kids TV in the morning, very bland and tired female biased shows in the daytime, old films, a token news show to how do you even describe their evenings? Next week its more gangster rubbish and what looks like porn and food junkies. Extremely weird scheduling, from kids to perverts and hardly anything of it to do with London, this channel changes direction more times than the bloody wind. I would love to see how they are performing, anyone have access to viewing data?

Sigh Crying or Very sad

You mean you don't use washing powder to get your TV signal?

Nope, nor Shakespearean characters.

...or mermaids!

10 FILM: THE RAGING MOON (FRI 2003) 20,000 n/a

Edit: was beaten to it by above post

While these programmes perform well for London Live, the whole list is indicative of the moves that have been made to reduce local content, in favour of repeats of old programming from the BBC and Channel 4 archives.

The lack of local content begs to question the whole point of London Live, and more importantly, how the whole Local TV project has been diluted by the reduction of local programming requirements, even more so with the licence fee money drying up and local channels struggling to make ends meet.

Food Junkies doing surprisingly well, despite being an old London Live commission from 2014.

Food Junkies!!! I totally forgot about that show, it was decent. Those ratings aren't too bad, especially for London Live

50,000 - 60,000 for a local channel seems remarkably decent, I'd agree.

There are some reputable digital channels that get that daily for some early evening shows.

Thanks for posting those.

If its not going to be local why on earth didnt they do a total rebrand, its neither about or for Londoners and its rarely live. I wonder where they expect to take this, surely the owners at ESI have deep pockets.

From what I can remember the last set of accounts (to September 2016) showed a £4m loss on turnover of £3m. They had 64 staff, up 2 on the year before when they canned 20 positions in the newsroom.
