The only positive with Ofcom's decision is that LL have to broadcast an hour of news in peak, so it's likely that the (late) breakfast show will be axed, 30 mins added to the lunchtime bulletin and an hour from 6pm. This would require only one presenter, where as now there's two presenting shifts for the news.
What an absolute waste. OFCOM should have made the decision to pull the license instead of giving in. Its interesting to watch NEXTRadioTV launch BFMParis and have future plans to launch a channel in Toulouse. Apparently NEWS12 channels in Metro NYC were the the inspiration for BFMParis. Moscow24 has been going strong for 5 years and just marked their anniversary. This is incredible that a major world city and capital London has no constant information channel. News, Traffic, Weather, all day, all night.
Costs would be very low if they just simulcast the radio output in vision and Global have you much bigger pockets than Made and it would be an easy way to increase the brands reach.
A Made takeover might seem like the logical next step but being London you can't rule out a company with bigger pockets having a crack at it or even buying it as a brand building or vanity project.

I noticed that a 'Made' staple - Sarah Beenie's property programme was/is running on LL in the afternoons. Maybe the two companies are already co-operating in some way?
At least the Made channels make an effort with live local programming in primetime - with 30 minutes of news at 6pm and 9pm on Weekdays, followed by a half hour magazine show as a minimum.
That's 30 minutes more than the 'new improved' London Live.

I'm sure they could use the peak hour for a 30 min bulletin and The Lowdown to count towards their news minutes.
Made also have lives on their channels using a similar style set-up to London Live.
What is missing from LL that Made provide is local programming which isn't just news which LL gave up very quickly on.
I don't think ES would sell unless their hand was forced - seems London Live is more about not providing Londoners with an alternative source of news and entertainment rather than supplementing the paper.

Which was pretty stupid as that where there is the potential to make money - not so much from the original broadcast but by London centric shows being much easier to sell on to digital channels and potentially having value beyond their original purpose. Lifestyle shows especially should be able to find a home on the various UKTV networks.
