I would say that she is freelance as she presented today on a pan-regional programme from Norwich, which she often does on a Sunday. She normally presents the Friday Cambridge programmes, but with cost cutting a reporter will fill in during the other days if regular presenter Janine Machin is away. PQF
I'm not a rota freak, but Goodman was the first presenter of the 'close Up' west service back in the 90's.
Good to see Alex Dolan back for a few forecasts a week, rather than shipping up the London presenters to Norwich. Was it cheaper to put them hotels, transport etc, than use the weather forecasters from WeatherQuest ?

Watching Cambridge and Norwich you spot the difference in capabilities of their systems. Cambridge have a slick menu type system showing to the right of the screen usually - though I'd prefer it if they changed the colours slightly.

They certainly have the capability to do nice stuff with their graphics in Cambridge, but the execution usually leaves something to be desired. That menu thing they were using on their promos probably uses the wrong colour for text, and the strap along the bottom is a poor recreation of the usual straps, with the wrong font and different animation. Even the title slate that is animated to at the end of the promo is a dodgy recreation! It's nice to see an effort being made, but it'd be equally nice to see a bit of polish with the special graphics!
