It does look like we're getting one. So who gets an interview with Andrew neil?

This'll most likely taking place on a big set I think, since we're now having to take part in the EU elections when we're supposed to have left the bloc (nearly) two weeks ago. I can see the Tories and Labour getting hammered, with the like of UKIP seeing a resurgence, plus the possibility of Farage's new "Brexit Party" and the "Change UK" party getting a fair few seats in the EU Parliament between them.

Although at the same time, we are supposed to be leaving the EU, so if the elections go ahead, the elected candidates will be sitting for about five minutes, so will anyone really be that interested?

I know some will think that Brexit candidates will ensure Brexit happens or Remain candidates will ensure remain happens, but none of that will have a binding influence in the Brexit situation, and also it might just even itself out, as these things tend to do.

If, as seems quite possible, there is a further referendum, there is a lot of avantage to the Remain side in making a big thing of these elections to counteract the "unelected EU" falsehood that persists.

Or they might not. A nice gig for a new candidate though if we do leave, a few months in office then presumably a nice pay off/pension. Tempted myself

Of course the EU elections were happening anyway so plans for coverage of them outside the UK will be quite advanced.
