Fiona was absolutely fantastic.
One show in is always a little bit of a rushed judgement but I thought she handled the panel with aplomb, whilst ensuring that the audience questions became the real subject of discussion.
I thought she handled Emily Thornberry astutely and kept the focus on party positions, rather than reinterpretations from others.
All in all, a great host seemingly off to a great start. Shame about the naff graphics, but then I wonder if a) continuity in as much as possible is the order of the day and b) whether it'll feature as part of the wider rebrand coming down the road. Just a thought.

The current look hasn't actually been in use for very long, has it?
I’d imagine any new look would come later on, as they may wish to maintain as much continuity as possible.

I seem to recall that look being there for a few years, although that might just be mixing memories as I believe it was an ‘evolution’ on the previous one.
For me, the horrid weighting on the astons and the general look of ‘back of van’ production really doesn’t help the programme.
I also hope they take the opportunity with the forthcoming News rebrand to align it a little more closely than simply typefaces.

2016. Though of course it's just a negative coloured version of the previous titles which date from 2007. So technically you could say the looks been in use for 12 years.
I do quite hate the 'Question Time' they have printed on the backdrop in what looks to be an Arial font and bears no resemblance to the shows logo at all.

No, but as Matrix says…
…it's not a great look. Of course, it's subjective, but it seems quite stuffy and 00s to me.
I would have thought that there would be a desire to refresh the presentation whilst changing the host, but perhaps they've chosen to hold off at this time.
Purely speculation, naturally.

I think it's set in Univers, and the same font as used for the location on the Q at the front of the desk.
