Worzel: fully agree with your Zeinab Badawi comments, although I'm not that keen to have her on the News Channel, for reasons that are probably apparent!
We could share her though via GMT.
We don't get GMT here in the UK anymore. It was replaced on BBC Two by the Daily Politics earlier in the year, which in turn was replaced by a BBC World News simulcast from 11:30-12:00.
The only time we get to share Zeinab Badawi with you is through World News Today on BBC Four.
Yes - expect someone to be filling in for Maxine over the next few weekends too (probably Tim/Adam Parsons/Sue Thearle/Fiona Armstrong and so on) - she always seems to take a while off in the summertime. Nothing new!
Haven't seen Adam Parsons lately on the NC, however planned to see him on Breakfast tomorrow though??
Munchetty Parsons! Good pairing, I reckon.
It'll be his second time presenting Breakfast, his first time on the sofa though and from Salford. The last time he presented was a desk-bound edition last summer, also with Naga.
