I visited N9 when that desk was in place and when the desk that replaced it. Sally Bundoch's area was the opposite side to the main set, incredibly cramped, but they pulled it off.
Have been trying to find footage of N9 when Dimbleby and Maitlis hosted an election programme from there, and they managed to install a giant screen unfortunately to no avail.

Yes, the first vamp Bail posted was the overnight TOTH vamp. That was basically the same vamp used for all TOTHs on daytime World minus those marvellous thunderclaps. The vamp heard in the initial video was the quarter heads vamp that was used throughout the day and night on World and didn't have a key change. The only time it was used for the TOTH was if they had headlines longer than 5 seconds that couldn't fit between the thunderclaps. What I could never understand is why they chose to use the quarter heads vamp, rather than the overnight TOTH vamp.
