Is breakfast ditching the red, and going orange?!

Hmm, white writing on an orange blob... reminds me of the GMB logo!

What ridiculous theories can be tenuously extrapolated from that, I wonder?

The second-coming of Susanna Reid to Salford?! Laughing Wink

A drone? Filming the outside of the building where BBC Breakfast comes from? Possible opening titles, maybe?
I wonder when ITV Breakfast will submit the invoice, as creative consultants... Smile

They could be doing a BBC Scotland and doing something along the lines of what they done recently...

To what exactly do you refer? Please explain?

It looks like a microphone cover.

Is this an actual new look or something completely anti-climactic like an EU Referendum themed set of stings or something? My guess is it's some kind of promo or sting for "Breakfast on the Road" in the run up to the referendum with Breakfast reporters going up and down the country with orange themed microphones, speaking to all and sundry.

The fact that James Mobbs has Tweeted today that it's not a new look suggests it isn't anything to get excited about.

Reporting Scotland recently used updated titles using drone footage when they extended the programme to 1 hour in the lead up to the Holyrood Election.

I've always thought the BBC Breakfast logo would look better in the weight that 'Newsday' uses.

Breakfast usually gets a set refresh every 4/5 years. But tbh the current set is fine, and replacing it would be a waste of money, it isn't tired looking imo.

I like the set too, and it's nice to have something different than all the new circular sets we have now, but they should change the screen backdrops.
