Comparing apples to oranges there. Don’t think it’s a massive ask to think news programmes should be presented by journalists and not comedians.

Didn't stop Russia Today hiring Alex Salmond and he's certainly not a journalist is he?

Ah yes, Russia Today - the cornerstone of journalistic integrity.

Edit: Snap!

Fancy translating for me? I don't understand 'yoof'.

He has a weekly show, he’s not going to be reading the news 🙄

What confuses you?
Russia Today is a trashy Kremlin mouthpiece. They’re hardly the gold standard of journalism, are they?

RT also had the comedian Tom Walker as Jonathan Pie.

I never knew he did a stint at RT. I found his BBC3 shows very funny, same with the YouTube channel.

People don’t seem to understand that RT have an interest in presenting themselves as centrist and ready to take the piss out of certain topics and offering a place to do that. See if they’d let him do a Putin gag, for example. And the Spiked and Tom Walkers don’t see they’re being used in that regard.

RT also allowed British conspiracy theorists on, such as Anna Brees (and I think Piers Corbyn has been on?) before she became part of the anti-vaccine members.

They'll basically have anyone on that makes the British Government look bad, regardless if they're left or right.

They’ve just started looking for graphic designers.

Second-hand rumours from an engineering colleague that the Paddington studios (seems to be plural) are due to be complete in late May or early June.
