There is a waiting list for EPG numbers, perhaps they've withdrawn the arabic one to give the english one a quick launch

is there any way I can watch al jazeera on sky now its gone off the epg?

no i meant aljazeera arabic channel- why has it come off, someone please reply

AJI will want an EPG number at launch, therefore taking the Arabic Channel off the EPG means that AJI may get an immediate number (it will probably be at the back end of the news channels in the 500s) instead of having to wait for one.

It's still broadcasting, just not on the EPG, you'll have to tune it in again manually.

The German website www.satnews.de reports, that Al Jazeera International will start on November 1st - who knows more about that?

how do i tune in manually to channels on sky, someone please help

Press services on your remote, go to system set up, then to add channels, enter 11.527 in the frequency box, the polarity to V, symbol rate to 27.5 and the FEC to 2/3, then select, al jazerra should come up, highlight it, press the yellow button and select and it should be stored under other channels.

On the AJI (Promo) on Sky, there is now a schedule and programme synopsis (when u press select, whilst on the channel).

Oooooo, what is the schedule like?! I've tried really hard to be near somewhere with Sky Digital for the 1st of next month, but it looks like the soonest I'll get to watch is the 9th According to the schedule what time is Riz Khan's programme on? I think it's called Riz Khan On Air or something!
