If we ignore the horribly bland concept behind it, this still isn't really a 'rebrand', you've just typed out 'ITV' and slapped it on a stock image. When you're branding for a TV channel like ITV there is a multitude of things to consider designing like:
> how is the logo used in idents? (which you've started to consider here)
> how is it used in endboards, bumpers, ECPs, etc?
> what about promotion on other mediums like print and on other TV channels?
> how will this logo fit into existing shows? (think GMB, ITV News, etc)
> and finally, is this better than what we already have?
Right now the answer to that final point is no. You've taken a very half-baked idea and dressed it up a bit and unfortunately missed out a lot of basic points that need covering when designing for TV.
