BBC One Globe

This is basically BBC1 in the 90s again, dated for now.

If you'd read the original post, I acknowledged they are closer to the balloons era rather than what they should be doing now.

Actually, that darkness makes it work for serious programming and indeed, a silent version could also be used for more somber moments.

What software did you use to create the whole thing of BBC one globe mock?

It was created in Adobe After Effects CC.

For me, the ident just feels like the 1991-97 logo. But with more red

So, let's suppose there was some cross channel promotion, right?

How would this ident work in amongst that?

Or even before newsflashes?

Or even breakdowns?!

I think that the logo needs to be in the same place in all promotion. Mabye the idents could be zoomed-in shots of the globe with an orchestral soundtrack, and have the logo in the bottom right corner.
