Since when did Asa appoint your (or anyone for that matter) as guardians? Though you have been registered on these forums a long time it's doesn't automatically make you a forum guardian, especially as you do not own the site and it is free at the point of use.
As for the topic itself it seems like it is in the right forum. Whilst not strictly multimedia it's hardly seems best placed here than in any of the other forums.

It's the only place a request can go, so therefore it's in the right place really. Don't be so picky, and basically waste your time trying to find problems instead of just trying to help everyone with their problems where possible.
And I was a bit confused about the whole guardian thing aswell, never knew of an official position even existing!
