These are brill Martin! Just one question - whos the lady sitting next to George? And why?

And one point - would this mean a different look for the six? (i.e. cos they'd have a different desk). Otherwise brilliant... my idea of how BBC News should look! 4/4 Laughing

imnogoth,

That lady is the wonderful and superb Lucy Hockings, news anchor and features producer for BBC World. However, she is no longer appearing on screen and several "Worldie's" are hoping she returns soon.

Excellent, Martin! What programme did you use to make them?

Shockingly, the BBC NEWS logo is starting to grow on me.

I love the studio because of the desks etc. but there's something wrong and I'm not entirely sure what it is. I think it does feel too much of a shoebox with just the images of the titles in the background.

I think, at least on the long wall, there should be an image of some form of "outside world" (such as a newsroom or a better done version of the skyline we see now) to make it more open and less claustrophobic.

Just to repeat what I said several hours ago in the other thread...

I prefer the current back drop; it's nice that it isn't all red, or black, or white. Also, it gives the feeling of depth. With just some sort of still from the titles, it would literally feel like a shoebox, not very exciting.

Good - but try feathering the heads of the presenters on Photoshop or whatever you use to 4 pixels - so you eradicate that black line on the top of George's head - presumedly the background of the shot you ripped it from - so it looks more realistic and integrated into the scene.

3/4.

Not sure at all on the video. The clocks are horrrible.

Just one problem - I hate the way George and Lucy just sit there smiling...

kinda looses the point of watchin the news!
