ITV1 HD - Logo, ECP and trailer endboard

I guess ITV should take its HD switch as an opportunity to update its presentation.

So we'd have a nice shinier logo. This below image could be used as a sombre ident, but the idents would remain on the current theme of 'alive with yellow'.

Not bad, not bad at all.

Hmm, does look like a lot of work has gone into it, but i think viewers would find the psychadelic colours a bit garish, Pad. Maybe stick with the shine but less colours?

Well, in this case it's well warranted. I love it.

What makes it HD? Anything that couldn't be done in SD? Not saying "go do something real intricate so it'll look fancy on a HD screen", just give some justification for it beyond a slightly bevelled logo.

Well those reflections and crap, I didn't do an incredible job but the endcap would move and it'd all be very exciting and glossy.

I don't really like them, mainly because of the OTT lighting effects and the bevel logos. It doesn't really look right.

Very nice. A bit too Apple-like in spots, but nice altogether. I'm afraid I'm seeing the reflection of images/text too often.

The presentation is top notch, however.

Quite nice but becuase it is HD why does it have to be full of gradients, no people and you can't do many multiple versions of yellow fading into white. Everyone knows that gradients make tv channels look cheap.

I said idents would remain on a similar theme to now...

Alright then, wanted to know what the reasoning was and I got it.

I really like the trailer endboard, not sure about the breakbumper. Much better ECP though.
