As I said, I "took" ryan's idea and improved it a bit, I wouldn't think the BBC would suit white for a DOG anyway...

i've just made a few more changes. i used DialUpBorg's template, but took away the gradiants.

The longer strips one works better as it makes the whole lot look less bulky than the one which has the ends trimmed off (so to speak). With the longer strips the height looks less as well IMO.

The blue makes a refreshing change for the BBC. I like the concept. Of all the try outs posted above, I think Ryan's most recent one fits the bill best.

Good though Dave, too.

I think the straps should be smaller, but (going against the grain here) I like the ones with gradient fading into the safe areas. It allows more of the screen to be shown.

BBC N24 are taking over from SKY NEWS in their attempt to clutter the screen up with straps these days. Shocked
