USB Charging from PC/Laptop

Apparently Apple may be introducing their own backwards-compatible reversible USB design with the iPhone 6. If they do, it would be a nice stopgap before the new type-C design becomes widespread.

Basically because yours is splitting, rather than switching the picture signal is getting sent from the DVD to the TV & the Sky box, so the TV isn't getting the full strength, thus dark picture....
