The £25 Monthly Sports Passes seem to have re-appeared on Argos again.

Also in Currys what is going on? Many available locally today.

Summer innit. A lot of good sport on FTA or BT, so Sky have to suck you in somehow. Get all that golf, cricket and rugby league you can! Bet the prices shoot back up in August when the football's back on.

This would be a reasoned explanation if the direct purchase route's price via the NOW TV website was reduced as well. It's not it's still showing at £33.99.

I recently purchased a NVidia Shield, which allows you watch NOW TV through the Chromecast Ultra add-on and the 25fps issue is really noticeable. I watched Nat Geo Wild and you could see where the lack of frames per second shows on fast scenes which is similar to what happens when you watch sport on Sky Sports.

Have you configured your Shield TV for 50Hz output. By default it usually runs at 59.94Hz (which will be even worse) and it doesn't refresh rate change automatically in most players (it does in Kodi and SPMC)

Casting some Sky Cinema VOD on the Shield. No issues at all.

Sort of..... they're not offering the month pass via the website at the moment, only Day and Week - the £33.99 offer is a bundle with 1 month of Sport, plus 3 months of Entertainment, Sky Cinema and Kids TV; so unable to compare true like-for-like.

Would be interested to know % of people who buy NowTV passes from the website, vis a vis people who pick them up physically in stores; also how many people use NowTV branded equipment as opposed to apps or Roku boxes.

For existing customers too?

I cancelled last week as won't really use it over summer and this time didn't get the usual £20 for 3 months offer. 4 months though would take us to mid-Oct so prob worth it.

For new and existing customers, a two month free Entertainment pass by using the promo code AANOWCLTPLQT in My Passes. I've used it and it works.
