I watched the Simpsons short 'Playdate With Destiny' the other day, it had was in 4K with Dolby Vision - really impressed with the picture quality for an animation, didn't check whether I was getting Atmos or not. The nature documentaries will be far more challenging to encode though.


I hadn't had a proper look round the available content before, was impressed how much was in 4K HDR.

Talking of The Simpsons, still no update on when the 4:3 versions are coming. They did say late May, so we'll have to see if they deliver.

All of a sudden, Twitter isn't interested in this any more and most of the replies to Disney+ on this announcement are people angrily saying they don't care and they want more Marvel content instead....
