ITV Regions Fault

It would make a lot of sense if ITV and the BBC decided to add the regional label on their DTT LCNs in England, i.e. "ITV1 Granada" as opposed to just "ITV1".

I live in a triple overlap area between Granada, Central and HTV Wales. Some of my equipment has a habit of replacing NW stations with WMids versions and its quite annoying having to trawl through the EPG to work out which one is which. So therefore I have "ITV1", "ITV1" and "ITV1 Wales"... same with BBC1.

I realise its less possible with BBC1 because of the lack of statistical multiplexing in England, but ITV has that system available to them - I suppose the assumption is that any given viewer recieves one regional version only, plus ITV's well known aversion to the regional brands.

Yeah that's the kinda same up here with me, I'm on the overlap area for STV North (Crieff Relay), and the STV Centrals (Glasgow Blackhill + Edinburgh Craigkelly) since I'm slap bang in the middle of Scotland. My Freeview box in the bedroom frequently puts them in the 800's because of it.

Does STV only use the "STV" identifier on the EPG since the 2006 rebrand?
