Keep Adam by all means, and let's keep plugging away about the problems faced by farmers and conservationists and how they are overcoming them -- or not. I suspect we may be in a minority on this, but I won't be returning to the fold until we get less of the One Show badinage from Mr Baker and Ms Bradbury. Perhaps we should start a campaign to reinstate J Craven to his rightful place, or is he just too far over the hill like the rest of us?
BBC Countryfile
Just discovered this site and decided to post a reply to the farmer who is unhappy with the changes to Countryfile. I too was a regular Sunday lunchtime watcher (though not a farmer) and found it informative and interesting. Then it moved to evening - no bad thing - and suddenly transformed into the Matt and Julia Show. The shift away from hard reportage to the Blue Peter approach to reporting is indicative of the BBC's (and TV's in general, it should be said) kow-towing to the cult of celebrity and flavour-of-the-month personalities.Keep Adam by all means, and let's keep plugging away about the problems faced by farmers and conservationists and how they are overcoming them -- or not.
