They have clearly made a decision to prioritise Amanpour, even if Christiane presents it from home, and it would still need a crew to put it together. .
It also might be worth keeping in mind CNNI's Amanpour is the one show that is not only aired on CNNI but also on PBS Member Stations (public broadcasting channels) across the US including in all US metro areas. That's also the reason there are no commercial breaks built into the programme as PBS programmes don't have any commercial breaks. In some ways, it is logical for this show to keep airing as it's the only show that is really aired worldwide as opposed to all the other CNNI programmes which are aired only on CNNI. Not everyone in the US for instance has access to CNNI but they do have access to local PBS channels mostly everywhere in the US so it's a huge relationship for CNN so I imagine they wouldn't want to jeopardize that, and it works even from home.
