The Department of Health in the Republic of Ireland has stopped doing their daily briefings. Reason being; Ireland has moved to Phase 2 of reopening and the virus infection rates in the Republic are very low. They started doing daily briefings when Ireland had its first case of Coronavirus, back in February. It was broadcast on RTÉ News Now.They now move to Mondays and Thursdays.
